Changes to our NHS Talking Therapies services

Page last updated: 8th August 2022

We’ve made some changes to the way our services are provided during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic to meet government restrictions and keep you and our staff safe.

We are responding to changes in the guidance for healthcare settings as they are announced and we'll continue to update this page with the latest information as it becomes available.

One-to-one therapy - back to in-person

We are currently providing individual therapies in a range of different ways, depending on what works for you. Please speak to our admin team or our therapist about your needs and preferences.

  • virtually by video consultation
  • by phone
  • online
  • in person, face to face.

Stress Less video workshops

Our Stress Less courses have been provided by pre-recorded video instead of in person throughout the pandemic. The videos are easy to follow and cover all of our course material.

Now that the government restrictions have been eased, we are considering how we may return to in-person group workshops again, subject to venue availability. We will update this age with more details on this as soon as it is practical to do so.

You can find out more about our current video courses on our therapy pages.

HealthMakers Pop-in Cafes

Our HealthMakers volunteers have moved their peer support sessions online and are holding two Virtual Pop-in Cafes each week instead of meeting in-person.

We are considering a return to in-person pop-in cafes and will update this webpage when we have more information.

You can contact our HealthMakers team to register your interest in sessions in your area of East Berkshire.

Slough drop-in sessions

Our Slough drop-ins are currently paused for the time being. We will update this page with further details as soon as we have more information to share about re-opening.
