Pop-in to a virtual HealthMakers cafe

This time of year can be difficult for many of us. That's why our HealthMakers volunteers are running two further virtual pop-in cafes to offer additional peer support.

The sessions offer friendly peer support and guidance to anyone in East Berkshire who is struggling with their mental or physical health and wellbeing.

Why not join us for a cosy chat and a cuppa between Christmas and New Year?

Virtual sessions will be running on the following dates:

  • Wednesday 29 December at 11am
  • Thursday 30 December at 2pm

For joining details please email healthmakers@berkshire.nhs.uk by Thursday 23 December to receive them in time.

Helplines

Outside of the above dates and times, there are a number of helplines that offer advice, support or a listening ear if you are struggling and want to speak to someone.

  • The Samaritans offer a free listening service to anyone who is struggling to cope. Call 116 123 (24 hours a day, 365 days a year)
  • The Silverline is a free confidential helpline for older people. Call 0800 4 70 80 90 (24 hours a day, 365 days a year)
